Shaab Sharm

Shaab Sharm is a spectacular 700-meter-long reef featuring two coral plateaus located at approximately 30 meters depth on each end. This stunning dive site is renowned for its vibrant marine ecosystem, showcasing an impressive variety of soft corals, hard corals, and large table corals.

One of the reef’s most popular attractions is a beautiful patch of gorgonian corals, which serves as a permanent home to the fascinating Longnose Hawkfish. Divers can spot this colorful species on almost every dive.

The reef is also known for its abundant pelagic marine life. During your dive, you may encounter large tuna, schools of barracuda, white-tip reef sharks, and Napoleon wrasse of various sizes and ages. These frequent sightings make Shaab Sharm one of the most rewarding dive sites in the region.

Due to its considerable size and distance from the diving base, divers typically explore different sections of the reef on each dive, allowing for a more diverse underwater experience.
