Welcome to Shams Diving Centers. We have dive centers in Safaga and Marsa Alam, Egypt. Our website is https://shamsdivingcenters.com/. These terms apply to all site visits, dive bookings, PADI courses, and gear rentals. By booking with us, you accept these terms.

1. Booking and Payments

You can book your dive trips, courses, or snorkel tours online or at our centers:

  • Deposit & Confirmation: You must pay a deposit to secure your booking. We will send a confirmation after receiving your payment.

  • Final Payment: You must pay the full balance on or before your first dive day.

  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, online payments, and cash at our centers.

2. Diver Certification and Health

Diver safety comes first. All divers must meet health and training rules:

  • Certification Cards: You must show a valid card (like PADI or SSI) and your logbook before joining certified dives.

  • Medical Fitness: You must fill out a medical form. If you have health issues, a doctor must sign a note stating you are fit to dive.

  • Safety Rules: You must follow all instructions from our guides, instructors, and boat captains at all times.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Travel plans change. Here are our refund rules:

  • Customer Cancellations: Cancel 24 hours or more before your trip for a full refund minus admin fees. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your trip receive no refund.

  • Weather & Safety Cancellations: If we cancel due to bad weather or coast guard orders, we will reschedule your trip or refund your money.

4. Equipment Rental and Care

When you rent gear from us:

  • Check your equipment before you leave the shop.

  • Return all gear in good shape when your trip ends.

  • You must pay for any gear that is lost, stolen, or broken.

5. Protecting Marine Life

We follow strict green diving rules in Safaga and Marsa Alam:

  • Practice good buoyancy. Do not touch or step on coral reefs.

  • Do not feed, touch, or chase marine animals like turtles, dolphins, and dugongs.

  • Obey all rules set by local marine parks and Wadi Gimal National Park.

6. Insurance and Liability

Scuba diving carries natural risks. We follow strict safety standards:

  • We strongly suggest you buy dive and travel insurance. It should cover emergency care and hyperbaric chamber treatments.

  • You must sign a standard liability form before starting any water activity.

7. Changes to Terms

We can update these terms at any time. We post all changes on this page. Using our services means you agree to the updated terms.
