At Shams Diving Center, the safety and well-being of our divers are our top priorities. We are committed to providing a secure and enjoyable diving experience through comprehensive safety measures:

• A zodiac always accompanies all our diving boats to ensure safety and provide additional support during your diving adventures.
• Decompression Chamber: A decompression chamber is located in Safaga, ensuring prompt access to essential care in case of an emergency.
• Emergency Equipment: Our boats are equipped with oxygen supplies and fully stocked first aid kits, enabling us to respond swiftly to any emergencies during dives.
• Trained Staff: Our team consists of highly trained and certified professionals dedicated to diver safety. All staff members undergo regular training to keep their skills sharp and stay updated on best practices.
• Pre-Dive Safety Briefings: We conduct thorough pre-dive briefings to inform divers about safety protocols, dive site conditions, and proper equipment usage, ensuring everyone is well-prepared before entering the water.
• Check Dives: Divers who haven’t been diving in over a year, or are new to our center, must complete a check dive to refresh their skills and boost confidence. This allows us to assess their readiness and provide personalized guidance.
• Diver Medical Statement: Divers must present a medical statement confirming their fitness to dive. This ensures all participants are medically cleared and aware of any health considerations. The medical statement must be no older than one year, as per Egyptian regulations.
• Regular Equipment Maintenance: We maintain high-quality diving equipment and conduct routine safety checks to ensure all gear is in optimal condition for use.
• Guided Diving: Divers with fewer than 25 logged dives must be led by certified guides familiar with the local marine environment, adding an extra layer of safety and expertise during the underwater experience.
• Diver Insurance: We recommend all divers obtain dive insurance for added peace of mind, providing coverage for any unexpected events during the diving experience.
• Environmental Awareness: We promote responsible diving practices to protect our beautiful marine ecosystems while ensuring the safety of all our guests.
