Khaled joined the Shams Family in 2023, bringing more than 40 years of diving experience to Wadi Gimal Dive Center.
He has been diving since 1983 and began his professional career in 1986. Throughout his career he has worked across the Egyptian Red Sea as an instructor, Technical Manager and Diving Center Manager.
Khaled became a PADI IDC Staff Instructor in 1993. He was one of the very first members of the CDWS (Chamber of Diving & Water Sports) and has been a certified CDWS Technical Manager since 2020.
With decades of experience, Khaled enjoys sharing his knowledge with divers of all levels.

She joined the Shams Family in July 2026 and is responsible for promoting Wadi Gimal Dive Center in the Polish market and building relationships with the Polish diving community.
By assisting Polish-speaking guests before and during their stay, she helps ensure every diving holiday is a smooth and enjoyable experience.
As a Divemaster, she combines her passion for diving with a genuine enthusiasm for introducing others to the beauty of the Red Sea.

Mohamed became a PADI Instructor in 2024.
He enjoys introducing guests to the incredible underwater world of Wadi El Gemal and believes every dive should be safe, relaxed and memorable. His calm attitude and friendly personality help divers of all experience levels feel comfortable and confident underwater.
His favourite dive site is Habili Dahara, while his favourite marine life is the famous clownfish, better known as Nemo.

Shazly has been a member of the Shams Family since 2022 and joined the Wadi Gimal Dive Center team in 2024.
As a PADI Instructor, he enjoys guiding certified divers as well as introducing beginners to the fascinating underwater world of the Red Sea.
His relaxed personality, patience and knowledge of the local dive sites make him a valued member of our instructor team.
His favourite marine life are sharks and his favourite dive sites are Shaab Sharm and Habili Quais.

Zizo has been diving professionally for many years. He became a PADI Divemaster in 2006 and completed his PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification in 2022.
He joined the Shams Family in 2019 and has been sharing his passion for the Red Sea with divers from around the world.
He enjoys looking for one of the Red Sea’s most fascinating marine animals—sharks and his favourite dive site is Habili Nos.

Ali has been a professional PADI Instructor since 2007 and joined the Shams Family in 2022.
He is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) with specialties including Dive Against Debris, Wreck Diver, Night Diver, Deep Diver, Digital Underwater Photography, Emergency First Response, Care for Children with AED, PADI AWARE, Coral Reef Conservation and Enriched Air Diver.
Ali enjoys teaching divers of every experience level and believes that every dive has something unique to offer. His favourite marine life is the small underwater creatures, especially colourful nudibranchs. Choosing a favourite dive site is almost impossible, but Sheleniat, Dahara, Wadi El Gemal Garden and Habili Nos are among his favourites.
