This dive site is one of the largest and most renowned reefs in Safaga, known for its panoramic underwater views. The site features an extensive coral block stretching 800 meters in length. The southern point, with its exceptional plateau descending to 35 meters, is particularly popular and ideal for drift dives. In favorable weather, the northern side offers beautiful coral formations and the chance to encounter turtles.
The reef hosts a diverse array of marine life, including eagle rays, tuna, and occasionally white tip sharks. A highlight of this site is a stunning anemone field that slopes down from the surface to 15 meters, home to over 40 anemone fish. Additionally, you’ll find a variety of stonefish and scorpionfish, making for a rich and captivating underwater experience.
