Michaela Fioratto-Eschenmoser is the Baseleader at Shams Safaga Diving center.
She did her first dive in 2006. In 2008 she did her divemaster. The year after,In 2009 she did her OWSI with several specialties.
Dry Suit Diver, Navigation, Night, Peak performance buoyancy, Nitox.
Michaela has worked for 18 years for the Shams Safaga Diving Center.
When she set her feet in the diving center she knew where to put her heart blood in.
Michaela´s spoken languages are Swiss German, German and English.
Paula Adel Mansi has been diving since 1998. In 2006 he started his professional diving career as a divemaster and in 2007 he did his Instructor. He has worked for the Shams Safaga diving team for 11 years.
Paula is an MSDT Padi Instructor with several Specialties like Search & Recovery, Self reliant diver, Nitrox, Wreck, Deep, Drift Fish Identification, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Photographer.
Next to his Instructor, Paula is the Assistant Baseleader and our Technical Manager.
We call him MacGyver, because he has a solution for every technical problem.
Paula´s spoken language are, German, English, French, Arabic
Essam Amer has been a diver since 2011. His professional diving career as a divemaster he started in 2012 and his Padi OWSI Instructor he did in 2016. He has worked for 11 years in our Shams Safaga diving center team.
Essam has his Specialties in the Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep and Nitrox.
Essam understands the German language so well that he understands even the German jokes, which is definitely not easy for a foreign person.
Essam´s spoken language are German, English and Arabic
Gina van der Laan has been diving since 1998. In 2001 she started her professional diving career as a divemaster and her Instructor she did in 2009 in Holland. She has worked for 7 years at the Shams Safaga Diving Center.
She is an OWSI Instructor with the Peak Performance Buoyancy and the Buoy specialty.
When Gina is around then there is always action & fun and everything costs 5 Euro 🙂
The spoken language of Gina is Dutch, English and German
Ahmed Ali has been a diver since 2002. His professional diving career as a divemaster was in 2010 and his Instructor he did in 2019. He worked in earlier time already for the shams safaga diving center and has been back for 2 years.
Ahmed is an OWSI Instructor and his specialties are adaptive techniques specialist, sidemount diver, nitrox, wreck, deep, scooter, dive against debris and peak performance buoyancy.
Ahmed is very creative and his heart opens when he can spend the first breath with someone who has special needs under water.
Ahmed´s spoken language are English, German, Arabic
Ehab Salah´s first dive was in 2007. He is the youngest in our team and did his divemaster in 2022. He started to work as a professional a year ago at our Shams Safaga Diving Center. In August he did his Instructor Course and works now as an OWSI Instructor.
The specialty he has is Peak performance buoyancy.
Ehab loves to make music and he will never stop studying.

Mohamed Farag Dachly is the captain of New Shams. He worked for Shams Safaga Diving Center for 26 years. Our guest calls him Captain Sparrow from the Movie Pirates of the Caribbean.
Abdrahim Ahmed Dachly is our cook of the New Shams. He worked for the Shams Safaga Diving Center for 28 years. People love he´s food and even our neighbor boats are telling us that Dachly is one of the best chefs in Safaga.
Abdrahim Ahmed Farag is one of our Bahari. Abdo has been working for Shams Safaga Diving Center for 27 years. He is a very helpful person.He jumps where it needs him.
Mahmood Saber is the second Bahari and if Dachly is on holiday he takes very good care of the kitchen. He is a hard working person and he always has a smile for everyone. He worked for Shams Safaga Diving Center for 9 years.
Mostafa Ahmed Mosalam takes care of the zodiac and if people miss their way he is there to take care that they are safe back on board and always has a good word for everybody.
He has worked for Shams Safaga Diving Center for 5 years.
Yahya Hamed is the Chef Compressor at the Shams Diving Center and sells diving on the beach.
He has been working for 24 years at Shams Safaga Diving Center.
Yahya knows everything what happens in the bay 
Abdel Fathah Mohamed is working at the compressor Team
Abdo always takes care that the people have good air. He worked for Shams Safaga Diving Center for 6 years.
Abdo takes care and has a good knowledge of the compressor.
Ahmed Ismael is working at the compressor Team of Shams Safaga Diving Center. He worked for our Team for 2 years. Next to that he takes care of the good air.
He is like Obelix, he doesn’t carry a menhir but when he carries the Tanks it looks like he carries feathers.
