Yes, you need a medical statement (not older than one year). The best is; to get it from your doctor. In case you are too late to get one in time, you can fill a PADI medical statement. If you are able to answer all questions with NO, you can dive with us. (To check before, please download the form here)

Yes the Nitrox is for free

You can pay cash (Euro, Dollars, Swiss Francs or Egyptian Pound) or by credit card (MasterCard or Visa, but attention all card payments with a surcharge of 3 %)

You don’t have to dive your package in a row. You can take a day or two breaks, whenever you like.

Cooperating with Deco International (recompression-chamber in Safaga), we offer a patrons map, valid 3 weeks, for 8 Euro. This patrons map covers half price of the first initial chamber treatment.

We have our recompression chamber in Safaga around 5km away

We recommend in the winter month Nov-March a 7mm
April till June we recommend a 5mm
In the summer time there is 3mm or even a Shorty fine

Divers till 25 log dives has to be accompanied from one of our CDWS licensed professionals according to local law. Experienced divers can dive in buddy teams after a detailed briefing on their own inside the frame of regulations

 We can organize the material if we know the courses in advanced. There is English, German, French, Italian, Russian, Polish, Arabic, Hungarian and many more

The knife is usually a diving tool, but by egyption law it is forbitten

We don’t rent cameras, but there would be the possibility to organize someone who does underwater videos

No, it is not a problem; you can wear contact lenses or bring with you a mask with corrected glasses we do not rent them

Then you need a medical statement from a doctor declaring you: fit for scuba diving

Our Organization (PADI) says 18 hours, we as Shams Safaga Diving Center say 24 hours

We have DIN tanks but as well INT adapters if needed

 We have 12 liter aluminum tanks. For our younger or short guest 8 l and 5 l tanks and for divers using lots of air we do have a small amount of 15 liter aluminum and steel tanks. (15 l on extra charge)

Try to order your replacement card, before you fly on holiday. If it is from our organization “PADI” we can check it on the computer, but the others it is not possible for us

Please do not touch, ride, feed, catch or harass anything you find underwater
Use good buoyancy control in each dive, but special when using cameras
Do not come back on the boat with less than 40bar in your tank
Do in the end of each dive a safety stop of 3 min. in 5 m
Stay inside the max depth according to your certification and close to your buddy’s
Each diver is obliged to have a own computer and alternative air source (both can be rented at the DC)
